CNA101 - Introduction to 2D Animation using Blender (Part 1)
Want to turn your drawings into lifelike character animations?
Mastering hand-drawn and digital animation techniques lets you bring characters to life. By learning fundamental skills and animation principles, you will successfully express your stories using unique art styles, camera framing, and dynamic body movements.
Course Objectives
Learn to create high-quality digital artwork and apply animation principles to animate characters frame by frame into short films.

Blender Grease Pencil tools; Digital color and illustration; Animation principles and workflows; 2D short film production
Tools Used:
The school provides digital tablets for student use. To use one at home, ask your instructor about purchasing details. (Wacom provides discounts for our students!)
Certificate:
Get an academy certificate upon completing the
final home assignment within one month.
Advancement:
Graduates can apply for our 2-year Professional Diploma Programme
starting this September to turn professional.

Comprehensive training to boost your hand-drawn skills!
As stage two of our program, this course helps students with basic knowledge advance their skills. You will master dynamic movement, enhance storytelling through camera work and composition, and complete a personal project for your portfolio.
Course Objectives
Master advanced Blender 2D animation techniques to enhance dynamic movement and realism. Students will learn composition, camera work, character design, and background illustration to produce their own animated short film.
