About Astro Heart

Astro Heart is a private animation and visual effects academy based in Hong Kong, with instructors who have years of experience in teaching computer animation. Over the past 17 years, we have trained more than 320 professionals and animators for the local film, gaming, and animation industries. Our alumni have contributed to the production of over 10 local films, 100 advertisements, and numerous animated films. In addition to education, we collaborate with our graduates on various animation, film, digital gaming, and entertainment projects both in Hong Kong and internationally, providing students with the opportunity to apply their skills in real-world settings.
Our History
Astro Heart’s teaching journey began in 2008 with the launch of the Computer Animation Training Program. Since then, over 3,000 students have participated in our programs, many of whom have become outstanding animators and artists in the industry. These individuals have made their mark in Hong Kong and across Asia, creating impressive visual effects and animated films. To keep pace with the global evolution of digital media, we officially established the Astro Heart Film Academy in October 2022. The academy offers professional skills training for those aspiring to enter the film and digital media industries in Hong Kong, nurturing the next generation of computer effects masters.
Rooted in Hong Kong with a global perspective, we aim to bring outstanding creations to the world’s animation, gaming, visual effects, and film industries.
