The fundamental purpose of education.

A life mentor, Auntie Sookit, asked me: 'This journey has spanned fourteen years now; what was your original intention? What has God entrusted to you?'

These words led me to quietly listen to my inner voice for an entire week, prompting me to document this journey of the heart.

The initial purpose behind founding this organization with Dr. Choi, and the original calling we have faithfully guarded.

• Cultivating Future Leaders: To nurture and mobilize aspiring local youth into a highly competent, professional team, while establishing a mentorship community rooted in mutual support and interactive learning.

• Mission Over Magnitude: To guide local youth enduring hardships out of their developmental dilemmas. We look beyond service statistics and prestige; instead, we dedicate our focus to holistic education, leveraging community resources to provide grounded, front-line support for grassroots youth in crisis, helping them navigate their most challenging life stages.

• Dignity and Equity: To champion the growth, living conditions, and inherent dignity of underprivileged and marginalized youth in our society, striving to provide them with robust support and equal creative opportunities.

• Transformative Companionship: To honor the journey of walking alongside grassroots youth, prioritizing their life transformation and personal character. Through community-building, we help them restore relationships and trust, heal childhood traumas, overcome learning difficulties, rebuild collaborative confidence, and live out a distinct calling through creative expression.

• Empowerment Through Expertise: To foster the growth of grassroots youth by anchoring it in their passions, equipping them with essential skills, knowledge, and professionalism. We aim to ignite lives with creativity and fulfill dreams with expertise, enabling them to face societal challenges with an excellent soul and professional competence.

• Upward Mobility and Opportunity: To provide meaningful employment opportunities and career guidance for underprivileged youth who lack societal advantages, empowering them to forge new pathways for upward social mobility.
  

Education is not measured by the scale of an organization, nor can its true worth be quantified by monetary investment. Rather, it hinges entirely on one’s willingness to lay down what they have for others. It is about investing our own lives so that others may experience genuine care and love, helping them reclaim love amidst the fears of growing up, and renewing their courage to face hardships and challenges. It is about assuring them that someone will walk alongside them unconditionally, enabling them to rediscover meaning and calling in life. This is the very testament of Dr. Choi’s life, showing me what it truly means to lay down one's life. At this season of his journey, he has taught me how to equip myself as a companion to the youth—not only to pursue relentless learning, but also to maintain absolute excellence in character, professionalism, and above all, to possess 'Excellence with Soul.'

The establishment of AstroHeart marks the beginning of a new milestone. It is your courage that inspires me once again to boldly forge a new path.
